The word “Sedition” is gone. But the concept of Treason remains stronger than ever. The new Section 152 of BNS changes the narrative from protecting the Government to protecting the Country.
In my opinion, this is a modern shift, but citizens must be aware that “endangering sovereignty” is a powerful term with heavy consequences.
