What is a Protection Order?
After your marriage (be it Arya Samaj or Nikah), if you apprehend danger, we file a protection petition in the High Court. The Court directs the Police Commissioner/SP to ensure your safety and often provides a safe house if needed.
Why is this Necessary?
It prevents your family from filing false FIRs (like Kidnapping or Theft) against the husband. Once the High Court passes an order, the local police cannot harass you.
